Punk legends Descendents have announced a one-off UK show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton for Sunday 4th June.

The One Hundred have announced their debut UK headlien tour. Support comes from Massmatiks.

Bristol indie punks Grand-Pop have announced the release of their debut album, ‘Eight Nights’. It will be released on 31st March via Specialist Subject Records. The band consists of current/ex members of Caves, Personal Best, Attack! Vipers! and The Attika State.

Brighton-based atmospheric rockers Porshyne will release their debut EP, ‘Environmental Music’ on 10th March.

Portsmouth quintet Provoker will release their debut EP, ‘the long defeat’, on March 6th.

Worcester, MA’s Backwards Dancer has signed to Rory Records, an Equal Vision Records imprint founded by Say Anything’s Max Bemis. Their self-titled album will be released on March 3rd.

Festival News

2000 Trees Festival has announced the first 38 bands with Slaves being confirmed as the first headliner. Joining them will be Nothing But Thieves, Pulled Apart By Horses, Jamie Lenman, Feed The Rhino, Dinosaur Pile Up, Muncie Girls, Black Foxxes, Grumble Bee, Shvpes, Bad Sign, Bellevue Days, Weirds, Personal Best, Cassels, Doe, Fizzy Blood, Soeur, Jonah Matranga, Giants, Tigercub, Away Days, Apologies, I Have None, The St. Pierre Snake Invasion, Louise Distras, Milestones Uk, Polary, Making Monsters, Wars, Vukovi, Straight Lines, Steven Battelle, Petrol Girls, Queen Kwong, Area 11, Greywind and Strange Bones.

Zebrahead, The Ataris and Fenix TX have just been announced for the Fireball Whisky stage at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival.

10 bands have been added to this year’s ArcTanGent Festival; TesseracT, SikTh, Tricot, Bossk, Employed To Serve, Lost in Kiev, Gug, Strobes, The Physics House Band and Wot Gorilla?

The likes of Twin Atlantic, Pulled Apart By Horses, Jaws, Beans On Toast, ROAM, Heck, Tigercub, Muncie Girls, Shvpes, Grumble Bee, and Bad Sign have been announced for the Y Not? Festival. It takes place from 27 – 30 July and will be headlined by Stereophonics, Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines.

The first names for this year’s Truck Festival includes Twin Atlantic, Nothing But Thieves, Jaws, ROAM, Tigercub, Sløtface, Weirds, Peaness, and Husky Loops. Truck Festival takes place in Oxfordshire from July 21st to 23rd. The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand and The Vaccines headline.

The first wave of bands for this year’s Fort Fest have been announced; Fort Hope, Skarlett Riot, Our Hollow, Our Home, Grumble Bee, The Ghost Riders In The Sky, Forever Still, Eva Plays Dead, Seasons, Autumn Ruin, Phoenix Calling, Making Monsters, Massive, The Bad Flowers, The Brink, Apherium, In Dynamics, Oceans, and Fires That Divide. After making its debut in September 2016, the festival will return to Scald End Farm in Bedfordshire for a second year, this time at the earlier date of the 4th-6th August.
