Dream Theater they have signed with Sony Music worldwide, through Sony’s leading progressive music label imprint InsideOutMusic, for the release of the band’s forthcoming 14th studio album.

Anthrax’s new release, ‘Kings Among Scotland’ on April 27th 2018. It will include the band’s entire live show along with interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and other B-roll shot on the band’s tour bus, backstage, in hotels and elsewhere. The DVD will also include a “gear rundown” from each of the band members.

Chicago quartet Homesafe​ have joined Pure Noise Records​. Their debut LP is expected to be released in the spring/summer of 2018.

North West quartet Leatherneck have announced they will be relaunching under a new name, cutting all ties related to Leatherneck.

Festival News

The second round of bands for next year’s Slam Dunk Festival includes Good Charlotte (co-headliner) PVRIS, Creeper and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. The other new names announced this wee are Thursday, Every Time I Die, Knuckle Puck, Real Friends and Crown The Empire.

The Acacia Strain (EU exclusive), The Contortionist and Japanese tech-metallers Cyclamen are amongst the first names to be announced for UK Tech-Fest 2018.

The other names announced this week are: Amogh Symphony, Vola, DVSR (EU exclusive debut), Jinjer, Voyager, Tides From Nebula, Crystal Lake, Bloodshot Dawn, Rishabh Seen (EU exclusive debut), The Surrealist, Damned Spring Fragrantia, Schiermann, Siamese, Stömb, Leeched And You Win Again Gravity.

It will take place at Newark Showground from July 5th to 8th 2018.
