With the release of ‘Hole In My Head’ set for February 16th 2024, Laura Jane Grace has shared a third track from the album. ‘Cuffing Season’ is described as “an acoustic rumination on age, hardship, and moving forward in the face of despair.”
There’s no doubt the stripped-back number highlights Grace‘s ability to passionately express her emotions.
”I think as you get older and go through life’s hurts and heartbreaks, it gets harder and harder to let yourself be open and vulnerable,” Grace says. “But when you do, it can be so worth it even if you just end up hurt and heartbroken again. In the end, I don’t think you regret those kinds of losses. I think you regret not trying.”
‘Hole In My Head’ will be released through Big Scary Monsters (UK) and Polyvinyl (US) on February 16th.
