Pure Noise Records continue to add to their roster and have now welcomed emo punk/hardcore outfit Shoreline. The German quartet become the first Mainland European signing to the label.
With their roots in DIY, Shoreline have grown over the course of 250 shows and has played alongside the likes of Silverstein, Boston Manor and Spanish Love Songs.
To mark the announcement of joining Pure Noise Records, Shoreline has debuted a song called ‘Needles’. Combining an infectious chorus with hardcore flourishes and reflective emo verses, it certainly makes Shoreline an exciting prospect.
“We tried really hard to avoid just mimicking existing music in the genre, especially because it is easy and common for a German band to become just a copy of what is already happening in North America,” said singer Hansol Seung . “I do think we managed to create an original piece of music that is influenced by both our experiences in the European music scene and our creative partners such as Chris Teti who has been important for some of the more recent American hardcore records.”
