It’s exactly what multifaceted artist, Mike’s Dead, produces on his new single – ‘WAR’. With its adrenaline-fuelled urgency, high-octane chorus, and Mike’s Dead’s gritty vocal delivery, it’s an honest and volatile account of inner turmoil.
“‘WAR ‘is about the mental battles that take place in my mind and wanting to push myself through greater & greater challenges,” Mike’s Dead shares. “Screaming “I want war, give me more” was a call out for harder battles, more challenges, and to become the best version of myself I can be. I believe this song will resonate deeply for those who struggle with mental health and want to overcome their struggles to see a brighter future.”
The release of ‘WAR’ comes just months after the release of his Hopeless Records debut ‘REBIRTH’ EP. The six-track effort proved to be equally lethal and cathartic. It also saw Mike’s Dead confidently claim to become the new face of industrial metal. While it’s a bold statement, there’s no doubt he’s making waves having evolved from his raw trap origins. By knocking down genre boundaries, he’s become an expansive artist.
With further new music teased for the rest of 2024, Mike’s Dead‘s touring schedule will see him playing a whole host of shows. He’s currently supporting alt-metallers A Killer’s Confession, while gearing up for a tour with In This Moment, Kim Dracula and I See Stars.
