Weatherstate Celebrate 10th Anniversary with Green Day Cover

Weatherstate

Weymouth punk band Weatherstate have shared their cover of Green Day‘s ‘Burnout’. It coincides with the quartet’s 10th anniversary and considerably sees them going full circle.

“Our first ever gig in 2014 was a Green Day covers set at a club night, and we opened the set with this song. With us now celebrating 10 years together as Weatherstate, we wanted to mark the occasion and couldn’t think of anything better than going back to where it all started,” stated Weatherstate vocalist and guitarist Harry Hoskins.

They’re Also Releasing a Limited Edition Cassette Boxset

Weatherstate‘s take on the ‘Dookie’ track is just one part of their 10-year anniversary. They will also be releasing a limited (to 50) cassette box set called ‘All Bangers, No Clangers’. It will consist of the ‘Dead Ends’ EP, ‘Dumbstruck’ EP and the album, ‘Born a Cynic’.

Finally, they’ll be heading out on a headline UK tour in the spring. They’ll be joined by Chlorine.
