Paramore have reunited with their original drummer, Zac Farro.

Ipswich quintet Basement have signed to Warner Bros. Records in a deal which sees them represented by Fueled By Ramen internationally. Last year’s ‘Promise Everything’ LP will be given the deluxe edtion treatment and will include a re-recorded version of the title track, a remix of ‘Aquasun’ and four bonus tracks: their interpretation of The Cardigans’ ‘My Favourite Game’, acoustic versions of ‘Aquasun’ and ‘Blinded Bye’, and an acoustic track ‘Cloud’. The Deluxe Edition will be released digitally on March 3rd with CDs following on March 17th and vinyl on May 19th.

North Carolina’s He Is Legend have joined Spinefarm Records. Their new album, ‘few’, will be released on April 28th.

Memphis May Fire have announced that they’ve parted ways with guitarist Anthony Sepe.

Montclair, New Jersey six-piece Pinegrove have announced their ‘Everything So Far’ collection will be released on vinyl via Run For Cover Records on April 28th. The anthology is a collection of all of Pinegrove’s output up to last year’s ‘Cardinal’ LP. It includes their debut album, ‘Meridian’ along with various EP’s and singles.

Emerging rock quartet A Will Away have detailed their new album. ‘Here Again’ will be released on March 3rd on Triple Crown Records.

Belgian pop-punks For I Am have announced their new album, ‘All About Perspectives’, will be released in the UK through Disconnect Disconnect Records on March 17th.

KXM, the rock trio comprising Dug Pinnick (Kings X), George Lynch (Lynch Mob) and Ray Luzier (KoRn) are set to release their second studio album, ‘Scatterbrain’ via RatPak Records on 17th March.

A Day To Remember, Creeper, Steel Panther, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Baroness, Suicidal Tendencies, In Flames, and Moose Blood are some of the new additions announced for Download Festival. Other new names confirmed are Kvelertak, As It Is, State Champs, The Devil Wears Prada, Northlane, Hacktivist, Touche Amore, Trash Boat, Wallflower, Dinosaur Pile Up, Grove Street Families and Blood Youth.

The next round of bands for the Slam Dunk Festival have been revealed with Neck Deep, Citizen, Turnover, Set It Off, Memphis May Fire, I Prevail, Oceans Ate Alaska, and Ice Nine Kills joining the bill.

Bloodstock Festival have added four more bands: Soilwork, Macabre, Wintersun and Scarab.

The first two headliners for this year’s ArcTanGent Festival have been announced as Explosions in the Sky and Converge. It will be both band’s only UK shows of 2017. ArcTanGent takes place from August 17th to 19th at Fernhill Farm, Compton Martin in Bristol.

The likes of After the Fall, Shit Present, Muncie Girls, Bear Trade, Strange Bones and Inner Terrestrials are amongst the final names to be announced for the Manchester Punk Festival.

The other new additions are The RPMs​, EMPIRE​, Chasing Cadence​, Autumn Ruin​, DIVIDES​, High Rise​, Weatherstate​, High Down​, Summer Drive Home​, Modern Rituals​, Dustlight​ and Honeyy Moon (formerly Coosbay​).

North West independent record label Loner Noise has announced a new Liverpool-based festival called WRONG Festival – A Festival For The Freakscene. The all-dayer will take place 22nd April 2017 at the newly formed creative hub of the Liverpool Docklands. It will be headlined by Japanese psych legends Bo Ningen. With the likes of HECK, The Wytches, USA Nails, The Hyena Kill and more confirmed.
