New Years Day have announced that they’ll release a six-track EP titled ‘Diary Of A Creep’ on January 26th via Red Music/Century Media. It’ll feature their brand new track, ‘Disgust Me’, along with covers of Linkin Park’s ‘Crawling’, Pantera’s ‘Fucking Hostile’, No Doubt’s ‘Don’t Speak’, New Order’s ‘Bizarre Love Triangle’ and ‘Only Happy When It Rains’ by Garbage, which features a guest appearance from Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale.
London hardcore band TRC will return with ‘Lifestyle’, their first full EP in over 5 years, in March.
Jeff Rosenstock has surprised fans with the release of a new album titled ‘Post-’. A physical UK release of the album will be released through Specialist Subject Records on March 23rd, with Polyvinyl handling its release elsewhere.

Festival News
Black Peaks have been announced as the headliners for Nottingham’s Macmillan Fest. It’s set to take place on September 1st.
The first details of a new indoor festival called Pile Up Festival have been announced. Set to take place across two days at Fibbers: Live Music Venue in York on June 22nd and 23rd, it will see a variety of names from the world of punk, metalcore, hardcore and rock including headliners A Wilhelm Scream, Teenage Bottlerocket, and Oceans Ate Alaska. Other names announced so far include Napoleon, Our Hollow, Our Home, InVisions, Palm Reader, Veridian, wars, Bellevue Days and COVE.
