Festival News

Opeth have been announced as the first headliners for this year’s Damnation Festival. Other names announced so far Birds In Row, Lord Dying, Wheel, Imperial Triumphant, Jo Quail, Alunah, Dawn Rey’d and Godeater. It’s set to take place at Leeds University Union on Saturday, November 2nd.

Seventeen new names have been announced for Bristol’s Booze Cruise Festival: Aerial Salad, Anna’s Anchor, Arms & Hearts, Boxing Day, Brightr, Cory & Kirsty Call, Cultdreams (formerly Kamikaze Girls), Dangers of Love, The Dauntless Elite, Dogeyed, Erica Freas, Oxygen Thief, Phaedra’s Love, Suggested Friends, The Run Up, Wayl, and Weatherstate.

Modern Day Babylon, Loathe and Brink Of Extinction have been added the Radar Festival.

Several new names have been announced for the Camden Rocks Festival: Ruts DC, Glamour of the Kill, Sean McGowan, Undead Raisins, Luna Bay, Average Sex, Gaygirl, Federal Charm, The London SS, Ping Pong Warrior, The Cruel Knives, Derange, Rival Karma, TOVA, Novatines, Thousand Thoughts, Laulia, The Filthy Spectacula, Marty Broke My Heart, Silvercord, XIII Weeks, Calico Jack, DROOL, Dutch Mustard, Seasonal, Black lightning Rock, Duck Lips, Cross Wires and Nash Albert

William Ryan Key has been announced as the special guest on the Marshall stage at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival. He will be performing an acoustic Yellowcard set.

UK Tech-Metal Fest have added 13 more names including Sunday co-headliners Leprous and Vildhjarta. Other names announced today are: Morgan Ågren, Shokran, Andy James, Carcer City (final show), Borders, Harbinger, Siamese, Armed For Apocalypse, HARMED, Red Method and Dividium.
