Festival News
The line-up for 2000 Tress Festival’s Forest sessions stage has been announced. It sees previously announced bands along with some exclusive Forest Session stage only acts. Festival co-headliners Nothing But Thieves, Lower Than Atlantis, and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes will all be playing acoustic sets. While Deaf Havana, Mallory Knox, The Menzingers, Honeyblood, Pulled Apart By Horses, Kevin Devine, Tigercub, Black Foxxes and Jonah Matranga are the other previously announced acts playing second sets on the Forest Session stage. The exclusive sets come from Hundred Reasons, Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties, Ben Marwood, Tellison, Jim Lockey, Bare Knuckle Parade and Non Canon.
Bloodstock Festival has added 10 more bands to this summer’s line-up. It sees Devilment, Battle Beast, Devil’s Playground, Merithian, Enslavement, Ba’al, zhOra, Mist, Heathen Deity and Shrouded joining the likes of Ghost, Amon Amarth, Megadeth, Hatebreed, Arch Enemy and more.
The first set of acts for Nottingham’s Macmillan Fest 2017 have been announced. Headliners come in the form of The Treatment. Napoleon, Skarlett Riot, Our Hollow, Our Home, Holding Absence, Carcer City, Anavae, Catch Fire, Borders, High Tides, and Little Bribes are some of the names confirmed so far. It will take place on Saturday, September 2nd across several venues; Rock City Basement, Rescue Rooms, Stealth, Spanky Van Dykes and Tap ‘N’ Tumbler.
Leeds DIY unk/indie fest Scene Better Days has announced it’s line-up for this August’s two day event. It includes the likes of Cowtown, Colour Me Wednesday, Onsind, The Kimberly Steaks, Naomi Stephens (Martha, No Ditching), Down and Outs, Ganglions, Bad Feeling and more. Scene Better Days takes place at Wharf Chambers in Leeds from the 11th to the 12th August. Tickets can be purchased here.
