Chicago pop-punks Knuckle Puck are preparing to release their fourth album, ‘Losing What We Love’, on October 20th (on Pure Noise). Having previously shared ‘The Tower’, the quintet have now shared the album’s title track.
Executed with heartfelt sentiment, ‘Losing What We Love’ captures the album’s brutal honesty. “‘Losing What We Love’ (the song) sways between clinging on to what was and letting go completely. If you choose your company wisely, you can allow yourself to give away all that you have to offer without hesitation or fear,” Knuckle Puck explained.
As stated previously, ‘Losing What We Love’ sees Knuckle Puck explore transitioning between life’s high and low points, taking a more optimistic approach to their songwriting.
The release of Losing What We Love’ will coincide with Knuckle Puck‘s appearance at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, before heading out on a co-headline North American tour with Real Friends.

‘Losing What We Love’ by Knuckle Puck Lyrics
who do we become
when we’re losing
what we love
and where did the time go
once you let your dark show
with every high and low
I feel you in my bones
but my heart’s here
to settle the score
if I could shake this off
mistakes and all
then would you even
wanna talk anymore
I guess we’ll never know
if all that you can take
is what you’ve given away
then put it all at stake
the only thing worth pondering
is the company that you keep
so who are we now
that you’re not around
slowly we unravel
the only constant
is this pain
but still we choose to gamble
against the odds
that we can’t change
cause I won’t let this slip away
then you say
if all that you can take
is what you’ve given away
then put it all at stake
the only thing worth pondering
is the company that you keep
