Last month, Lonely The Brave shared details of their forthcoming fourth album, ‘What We Do To Feel’. Now ahead of its November 10th release, the quintet have shared two new songs.
The first of these is called ‘Victim’ and is described as being for “Those times when you feel like the world is against you,” by Lonely The Brave vocalist Jack Bennett. The second, ‘The Bear’ serves as the album’s closer, proving to be equally brooding and triumphant.
Guitarist Mark Trotter commented on ‘The Bear’, saying “it alludes to discussion around the anxiety and fear associated with the potential loss of a loved one, and the release of *that* emotion when that comes good.”
Together, both ‘Victim’ and ‘The Bear’ exemplify the album’s overall theme of hope, hardship, hurdles and gratitude.
