Italian duo Six Impossible Things made their arrival just short of two years ago with the release of ‘We Are All Mad Here’. The album saw the two-piece, Nicole Fodritto (vocals, keys) and Lorenzo Di Girolamo (vocals, guitar), display a melodically strong set of acoustic emo songs.
Since then, SIT have been developing their sound with their forthcoming EP, ‘I Tried To Run Away From Here’, moving away from their acoustic origins.
Today, we’re premiering the first single from the EP. ‘Dance Floor’ is a melancholy-drenched number with drifting, reverb guitars, and was produced by Neil Kennedy (Boston Manor, Creeper).
The accompanying video sees SIT collaborate with Martin Wisniewska (aka Gingerdope) to create a oneiric atmosphere that complements the dreamy tone of ‘Dance Floor’.
As for the song itself, Six Impossible Things tell us “it’s a song that talks about something missing, a constant search for something you can’t reach.”
‘I Tried To Run Away From Here’ EP by Six Impossible Things is released on 29th March on Tanzan Music.
