The past October, Tiny Engines welcomed Chicago-based alternative rockers Footballhead. With their debut album, ‘Overthinking Everything’, set to receive a proper (and remastered) release on March 1st, Footballhead has shared a track called ‘Like A Blister’.

The two-minute number, which you can hear below, combines plucky acoustics with stirring alt-rock/grungy bursts, eventually giving way to a wall of distortion. With its downward strumming, lo-fi tone, and heavy conclusion, the short, sharp track is reminiscent of bands such as Superheaven.

‘Like A Blister’ is the third track to be lifted from ‘Overthinking Everything,’ following ‘Habits’ and ‘Tightrope’.
